These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“T&Cs”) apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales concluded by the Seller with non-professional buyers (“the Customer” or “Customers”) wishing to purchase the products (“the Products”) offered for sale on the website www.maison-nilea.com.
The Products offered for sale are:
Handmade cotton rope bags
Hand-embroidered scarves and shawls
Brass jewelry
The main characteristics of the Products, including specifications, illustrations, and information regarding dimensions or capacity, are presented on the website. The Customer is required to review them before placing an order.
Product photographs and visuals are as accurate as possible. However, due to the artisanal nature of production, slight differences in color, shape, or finishing may occur between the delivered Product and the website presentation. Such differences shall not be considered defects or grounds for non-conformity.
The selection and purchase of a Product are the sole responsibility of the Customer.
Product offers are valid within the limits of available stock.
These T&Cs are accessible at any time on the website and shall prevail over any other document.
The Customer declares having read and accepted these T&Cs by checking the designated box prior to completing the online order process.
Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded in the Seller’s computer system constitutes proof of all transactions concluded with the Customer.

Products are supplied at the prices in effect on the website at the time the order is recorded.
Prices are expressed in Euros (€), all taxes included (TTC).
Niléa operates under the VAT exemption scheme (Article 293B of the French General Tax Code); therefore, VAT is not applicable.
Prices do not include processing, shipping, transport, or delivery fees, which are charged in addition and calculated prior to order confirmation.
An order confirmation email is sent after payment validation. An invoice may be issued upon request and sent electronically.
The Customer selects Products and adds them to the cart. Before confirming the order, the Customer must:

Provide delivery and billing information
Select a delivery method
Select a payment method
Payment is due immediately upon order validation.
Once payment is confirmed, the order becomes final and binding.
Niléa reserves the right to refuse abnormal or bad-faith orders.
The sale is only considered valid after full payment.
Any order placed constitutes a distance contract between the Customer and the Seller.
Payment is made securely via:
Credit or debit card
Payment is due in full on the date of order.
Payment data is encrypted via the secure protocol used by the approved payment provider.
The Seller is not required to deliver Products if payment has not been received in full.

European Union
Switzerland
United Kingdom
Orders are prepared within 2 to 3 business days after payment confirmation.
Delivery times vary depending on the selected carrier:
Mondial Relay: 3–5 business days
Colissimo: 2–4 business days
Delivery times are indicative and may vary during peak periods.
Delivery is deemed completed upon physical possession of the Product by the Customer.
If delivery is delayed by more than 10 business days (excluding force majeure or Customer fault), the Customer may cancel the sale in accordance with Articles L216-2, L216-3, and L241-4 of the French Consumer Code.
The Seller shall refund amounts paid within 14 days of cancellation.
Products travel at the Seller’s risk until delivery, unless the Customer chooses their own carrier.
Ownership of the Products transfers to the Customer only after full payment, regardless of delivery date.
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal.
Conditions:
The Product must be returned new, unworn, unused, and in original packaging.
Personalized, worn, or damaged items cannot be returned.
For hygiene reasons, earrings for pierced ears cannot be returned or exchanged.
Initial standard shipping costs are refunded.
Return costs are borne by the Customer unless the Product is defective or non-conforming.
Procedure:
The Customer must email contact@maison-nilea.com with the order number.
A prepaid Mondial Relay return label (via Boxtal) may be provided. Return costs will be deducted from the refund.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned item.
Products benefit from:
The legal guarantee of conformity
The legal guarantee against hidden defects
The Seller will refund, replace, or repair Products found to be defective in accordance with French consumer law.
The Seller’s liability shall not apply in cases of:
Non-compliance with local legislation in the country of delivery
Misuse, professional use, negligence, poor maintenance
Normal wear and tear
Accidents or force majeure
Each Niléa product is handcrafted according to traditional craftsmanship.
Slight variations in color, shape, weaving, or finishing may occur.
These variations are not defects but reflect the authenticity and uniqueness of each creation.
Seller liability is limited to replacement or refund of non-conforming Products.
Personal data is collected for order processing and delivery purposes.
Data collected may include:

Payment information
Data is processed in accordance with GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679).
Data is retained for 5 years.
Customers have the right to:

All website content is protected by intellectual property laws.
The “Niléa” trademark is registered with the INPI under number 5157116.

These T&Cs are governed by French law.
